Assignment 4

 II READING COMPREHENSION

Read the passage carefully.

It may seem a cliche or platitude to say but in practical life, it is still a true saying that God helps those who help themselves. One may be regular and punctual in worshipping God and may be going to a religious place regularly. But it is a fact that to earn one's bread and butter or to do one's other jobs related to one's business, it needs a self-attempt. Even Lord Krishna conveyed his message through the Gita, "One should continue doing one's duty but the fruit of one's struggle is in the hands of God." One can learn a good lesson from this message. It is that one should do hard work but not expect any fruit. Let the fruit, if any, come itself or by grace of God, so to say. But we cann't denie the spirituality as it develops the self

A student cannot hope to pass an examination without making a hard preparation for it. He may be a theist and good worshipper of God. Most religious preachers rightly say that God will not help that person who does not take interest in doing his own work and who tries to put all his responsibilities on the shoulders of God or his fellow- beings.

((But sometimes after doing hardwork one may fail in life, as hardwork may cause health problem))

God likes only those who have true faith in the principle of doing their own work themselves. Hence they say that man should do his every small or big job with his own hands and mind instead of depending on others to do so for him.

((((But a man may have interest in any one work, he can do properly that work. He do'nt know how to do another works. Then he has to take help from others. A man may do a particular work successfully.)))

As a by-product, it will also help in ending poverty and slavery the or bonded labour to some extent. It is so because poor sections will no longer think of working only as slaves and servants. They will instead pay attention to health, education and higher values of life. They will try to raise their standard of living. The rich will also learn to give

up sloth.

The habit of self-help in different walks of life makes a man courageous and self-confident and also brings good wishes for him from a large number of people in society. The annals of History are filled with the glorious and courageous deeds of those people who adopted the principle of self-help. (((But people should help each other to live together in a society. It may develop the democretic values in a country. If one helps to another in work what he is excel in. Only self help may not be succeeded an individual. He may need help from other also to do a work properly.)))

It is also seen that a hard-working man has an immense sense of self-respect. Perhaps that is why even a handicapped person tries his best to earn his own bread and butter instead of depending on others.

Those who are still wandering in some other imaginary world and have not so far learned the art of doing their work with their own hands, should learn it from the little insects like ants and bees which always keep themselves busy.

(((But people don't pay attention to such things, in a busy world people are busy with themselves, There is no time for them to observe such thing a learn anything. Because he can be able to learn who want to learn.

Animals and birds also do their jobs with their own efforts. They never try to make others their slaves and they never depend on others for their food. It is because they instinctively believe in the principle of self service or self- help.

Yes the society of animal is the best. They are not self-centred. They are very placid . So tje author Bishmark want reborn as animal as he loved the animal.society very much.
